My name is Alyse Grimm and I am a professional wedding and event photographer serving the Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York area. I am a self-taught artist with an eye for detail...they say a picture is worth a thousand words and I aim to capture images that speak volumes.
When shooting events, we take a non-obtrusive approach. Many brides we have worked with rave about how they were able to enjoy their wedding day without being overwhelmed by the photographers. We feel that taking a laid-back, photojournalistic approach works best; capturing people in their natural element almost always produces the best and most genuine images. Posed pictures do have their place of course, but we feel that people smile the best, laugh the loudest and let their true selves shine when they aren't focusing on the cameras.
