My name is Alyse Grimm and I am a professional wedding and event photographer serving the Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York area. I am a self-taught artist with an eye for detail...they say a picture is worth a thousand words and I aim to capture images that speak volumes. When shooting events, I take a non-obtrusive approach. Many brides I have worked with rave about how they were able to enjoy their wedding day without being overwhelmed by the photographer. I feel that taking a laid-back, photojournalistic approach works best; capturing people in their natural element almost always produces the best and most genuine images. Posed pictures do have their place of course, but I feel that people smile the best, laugh the loudest and let their true selves shine when they aren't focusing on the cameras. I specialize in wedding and event photography, though I also do photoshoots of all shapes and sizes.
